General Manager - Calvin Janke
He began his career at the Co-op as a part-time student in 1988 in Marquette. Calvin worked his way up from gas jockey and has trained for, and held, several positions along the way - Hardware Manager, Petroleum Driver, Feed Manager, Agro Manager, Branch Manager and now General Manager. It has become a lifelong passion of his to see our Co-op grow in all three of our local communities; Marquette, Elm Creek and Starbuck. The amalgamation of Elm Creek and Marquette Co-ops was an exciting time and gave Calvin the opportunity to work with a whole new team of people and membership in Elm Creek. He is grateful to those communities for their warm welcome and continued support. He is very proud of our team and also appreciates their support and dedication. Operations Manager
- Helena Borst (Awaiting Bio) Helena started working for Elm Creek Co-op back in 2017 as hardware clerk and has held many different positions within the organization, learning all different sides of the organization along the way. Currently she is the Operations Manager at Prairie Roots Co-op and enjoys working with all the staff and departments across the locations. She excited to see our organization grow and continue to thrive within each of our communities.
About the Administration Division Our administration department can be found in the Marquette and Elm Creek locations. We are available from 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Saturday. Customers can connect with us directly by phone, fax, email, or in person for account inquiries, requests or payments. Payments can also be made at the Starbuck location. The Administration Team
Administration Manager- Sherri Bergen Sherri has been with the Co-op at the Elm Creek Location since June 2017. She did, however, start married life working at a different Co-op so she feels Co-op has been in her blood for a while. Sherri was a stay-at home mom while her 2 children were young, She provided child care for 2 amazing neighbor girls, taught piano lessons, took a term position at BDO Dunwoody and began a 13 year career with CIBC where she managed branches in Elm Creek, Holland and Treherne. Since returning to Co-op, Sherri has enjoyed the opportunity to work for a business whose heart and soul is “community”. She feels that a wide variety of employment in the past has prepared her for the ever expanding opportunities our growing Co-op has. Sherri enjoys being part of an organization that is working towards a stronger, more diverse Co-op. Since amalgamating in 2019, our Co-op has more to offer our members with the 3 locations of Marquette, Starbuck and Elm Creek and the same small town values that have made us successful in the past will also make us successful going forward. Being a part of such growing change excites Sherri and she looks forward to what direction our Co-op will have going forward. Sherri's role in the association is to support our customers and staff and to help develop and streamline processes and procedures that help our Co-op to be more efficient in achieving the goals and vision that have been set. When she is not in the office, Sherri enjoys being outside, walking, kayaking, and chasing Northern Lights. She loves spending time with friends and family. Hwe children are both married with kids and she loves watching their families grow.

Administrative Assistant - Krysta Prevost
Krysta moved to the Marquette area with her family in 2016. She has over ten years experience in legal administration ranging from small firms to big corporations. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg and a legal administration certificate from Red River College. Community involvement is extremely important to Krysta. You’ll often find her (and her family) at community events at Meadow Lea Hall and Raeburn Heights volunteering or attending functions. she is also an avid curler at the Marquette Curling Club and has been facilitating the youth/teen programs since 2020. Besides curling, Krysta also enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with her family. Being in such a prominent agronomic area, Krysta is eager to learn from members and co-workers about the processes and products that help drive and support agricultural development. She is excited to work in a community-focused organization and welcomes the opportunity to get to know more neighbours and members of her own community as well as the communities of our Starbuck and Elm Creek. Commodities Admin, Marquette - Beth Delaroque
Beth and her husband are beef farmers from the RM of Woodlands. They have 4 children, 6 grandchildren. Beth started working at the Co-op in 2014.
